Welcome!

I am the husband of a Fulbright Scholar and we are on our way to Amman, Jordan.

David: After we retired my wife, an attorney, became a nurse to find meaning through service to others. Interested in the educational aspects of nursing, she earned a doctoral degree and won a Fulbright, all post retirement. Her unequivocal support allowed me to succeed in my career; now it's my turn to support her. My first blog, Fulbright Husband in Jordan, began as a way to share our experiences with family and friends. It was featured on the web site of the US Dept of State, and read by people all over the world. My wife was then invited to China and I used a similar blog name. Since the first blogs we circled the globe for my wife to serve others. We are now headed to Africa and I invite you to read (and comment on) my third blog, Fulbright Husband in Uganda.
